Xindy grew up in Shenzhen — the city that builds most of the world's hair tools, though almost no one knows it.
For years she watched the same thing happen: high-speed brushless dryers assembled a few miles from her home would ship out, get a premium brand name, and land in American stores for $400.
So she asked a simple question: if the technology is made here, why does salon-quality have to cost a fortune?
EJanMay is her answer. She works directly with the engineers who build these motors, skips the middlemen, and puts professional-grade drying — 110,000 rpm, intelligent heat control, real hair protection — into a tool that costs less than a night out.
