Low heat, medium airflow — cup waves upward with the diffuser to encourage the natural pattern.
Diffuse to roughly 80% dry, then let the rest air-dry to protect the shape.
Finish with a cool shot to lock in definition and calm flyaways.

Defined, springy spirals that depend on moisture and gentle shape retention.

Low heat, low airflow — hover the diffuser over each section without disturbing the curls.
Cup sections gently and avoid touching until the pattern is fully set.
Leave slightly damp and finish cool for lasting bounce and shine.

Coily hair type 4

Coily

Tight coils and zig-zag patterns — fragile, shrinkage-prone, and moisture-hungry.

Lowest heat, lowest airflow — stretch-dry on minimal tension to reduce shrinkage.
Alternate the concentrator and diffuser to elongate coils without frizz.
Seal in moisture with a slow, cool finishing pass.
